My girls wore these for Easter with white cardigans and white stockings this year- very darling. As far as sizing, the XXS was a great fit for my 20 lb/ 30 inch toddler.
For my 49lb/ 49in older daughter, the XXL was too small and the XXXXL was too wide but good length-wise.
One thing to know about these and some of the other ruffle dresses is that the ruffle (here a tan/white stripe) is sewn to a crinoline layer. It's great for adding poof but awkward if they lift the upper skirt which has pockets- the bottom layer is otherwise see-through. Stockings are a must!
Also, the pockets are too low to be functional. Super cute, though!
