My 3 year old is almost 36 inches and 31 lbs and this fits wonderfully. The pants are a bit long (she's a shortie) but just one roll at the waist helps. She'll probably even get 2 seasons out of it. We both love it and have gotten so many compliments. Definitely one of my favorites.
